About the project

A useful home for a fashion memory.

This domain now hosts an independent editorial archive: original writing, newly created imagery and practical resources for people researching pre-loved Australian fashion.

The former website was a fashion storefront. This website is not. It does not sell clothes, take orders, honour old gift cards, represent the former company or speak for its designers, staff or owners.

What we preserve

Public web archives show how the site was organised at a particular point in time. We preserve useful route relationships, collection names and category context so that old references do not end at a blank error page. Historical URLs are redirected to the closest relevant editorial resource.

What we create

Every article on this website is newly written. The current visual assets were created for this project and do not use former campaign photography, logos or product shots. The design nods to the generous spacing and image-led rhythm of the archived homepage without cloning its storefront.

Why usefulness matters

A revived expired domain should earn attention by helping the audience its old links describe. That means substantial pages, clear authorship, working navigation, stable canonical URLs, fast delivery and honest disclosure—not thousands of empty product pages.

Corrections and contributions

If you have evidence that improves a historical detail, contact the archive with the page URL and source. Please do not send private customer records, order details or copyrighted campaign files you do not have permission to share.
